Being a woman is not an easy task. I believe this has always been the case. I had to choose between being a modern woman, who is a mother, wife, her own woman, working, running a family, keeping herself mentally and financially independent, or being a traditional woman, who is a mother, wife and focusing on keeping the home together but dependent on a man. I chose the first option. I say this with no judgment.
I merely state it as a personal choice. I tend to believe the women reading my pages in majority have made the same choice as me. I don’t believe in complaining about the complexities of being a woman. Yes it is complex, but it is also wonderful. It’s like a fantastic result in a competition, it’s hard to achieve it but fills us with pride and accomplishment. I am filled with gratitude that we can learn, we can be independent, we can participate in the Olympics, we have open doors, we can choose. We can choose who we want to be. I choose to be a modern woman with classic values, and I don’t compete with men. Who is the woman you want to be?
